Looks-like-Mud "Green" Smoothie

1/2 cup milk or almond milk (sometimes I use a bit of both)
1/4 cup strawberry or vanilla yogurt
3/4 cup frozen raspberries *
1/2 banana **
1 big handful (at least one cup) spinach or kale
3 tablespoons pureed carrot (optional) ***

* If you use fresh raspberries instead, you'll want to add some ice to your smoothie before blending
** Or you can freeze the banana
*** I use baby food, because I've never had much luck pureeing carrot properly

Throw all of the ingredients into your blender like so:

Blend until smooth.

Voila!!! You will have a delicious (but ugly-looking...red + green = brown) and healthy smoothie!

Cheeseburger (or Veggie Burger) Wrap

1 Whole Wheat Tortilla (I used a small-sized, 100 calorie one, but you can use a larger one)
1/2 burger or veggie burger of your choice (or use the whole thing if making the larger version)
Grated cheddar cheese (as desired)
Onion, peppers, tomatoes, pickles, etc. (whatever you would typically put on a burger)
Condiments as desired (I used regular old ketchup and mustard)

This is very simple. Just cook the hamburger/veggie patty, and then cut into bite-sized pieces. Heat up the vegetables in a non-stick pan until soft, then put in the tortilla with the "meat". Add the cheese (melt in microwave if desired) and condiments. Presto! You are done!

The great thing about this is that it can satisfy your cheeseburger craving without so many extra calories. And you can alter the ingredients/amounts to suit your tastes and calorie allotment. So easy it's stupid, right?
