Almost October...

And that means that Aaralyn is four months old. I just can't believe it.

When you say "four months" it doesn't sound like so much. But when you think about it, that's a THIRD of a YEAR! Holy smokes!!!

It sounds clichéd, but in some ways, it feels like just yesterday she was born, and other days, I can barely remember life without her! Can anyone relate?

Voila: Aaralyn and her cousin Nora:

Off and Away again...

Aaralyn and I are headed off tomorrow (early morning...so why am I blogging at 1:57am? Hmmm...) for our second mini vacation of the season. The first one was with our little family of three, but this time, it's me, my parents, my sister, and our two babies. The husbands couldn't get time off of work, nor do I think they were all that interested in travelling with the inlaws!!!

Will post when we come back!

I still suck at this

I'm terrible at updating!!! I'm sorry!

Just a quick note to say that Aaralyn is almost four months old. I can't believe how the time has flown by. Her eyes are still blue (yay), she's tall as anything, and more alert than most 2-year-olds I know! I love her so much!

Long time no blog...

What can I say? I'm terrible at this :P

Aaralyn is doing very well! I can't believe that she's over 3 months old already! It's been over three months since I went through labour and delivery, first held her in my arms, and looked into her little eyes for the first time!

Of course, now that I've had her for a quarter of a year (wow!) I just HAD to get some more photos taken:

Recently, Aaralyn has had a few "firsts". They include:

- first vacation (just two nights away with mommy and daddy)
- first time rolling over (from tummy to back)
- first cold (thankfully not too bad!)

Now that summer's almost over, I'm looking ahead at the months to come and am SO excited for many more firsts...like first Hallowe'en, first Christmas, first New Year's...in fact, I'm pretty much excited about every first holiday. Is that normal, do you think?
